“Yoga is the journey of the Self, Through the Self, To the Self”

Yoga helped me rediscover who I am. Peeling back the layers of depression and addiction, yoga brings a clarity that allows me to be the true person buried inside. Every day, I continue to work on healing, self-love, forgiveness and making sure I learn and don’t repeat the past mistakes. I credit my practice of yoga asana, meditation dhyana, and my lovely wife and life partner Jacquelyn for helping me stay alive in this complex and beautiful world.

Yoga has many limbs, 8 all told. Each limb represents a journey of self discovery and learning: I am growing my practice of each limb; Yama through veganism, Niyama through sobriety, Asana through the physical postures of yoga, Pranayama through breathing, and Dhyana through meditation. You may have noticed a few missing limbs, I am a work in progress!

My yoga practice started in 2014. Jacquelyn and I completed our RYT 200 training under Jenn Holm and Carolyn Gross at Yoga 4 You in Savage, MN.

I enjoy helping people grow by sharing my experiences, and do so by leading Vinyasa Yoga and Meditation practice. Jacquelyn and I enjoy practicing together and share that love in couples centered workshops.
